Shop Aid was approached a by an online retailer specialising in selling pet food online via their Shopify store.
Sales were steady, however the client was having problems with sales related specifically to Google Shopping. Whilst the client had successfully used Google Search, they were having no such success with their product advertisements.
And so Shop Aid’s task was to create an optimised sales funnel via Google Shopping (before moving to Performance Max).
From an initially low base of $150 per month, Shop Aid improved the client’s revenue to $7,200 per month, representing a 480% increase. We also managed to maintain the ROAS (return on ad spend) of 600% in the process. A great result all round!
We are also pleased to say that Shop Aid has managed to maintain these results after pivoting to Performance Max 😊.
How Did We Do It?
After completing a full audit of the Google Merchant Center, Google Ads and Shopify store, we realised that the product titles, description and images were proving a barrier on Google Shopping.
Creating a manual feed for the client, Shop Aid tested new titles and descriptions having conducted research on the highest volume search terms related to the client’s products.
