Shop Aid was instructed in 2022 by a London based retailer who specialises in selling baby products, ranging from pushchairs to swaddles.
The retailer had been advertising on Google for a period of 12 months, however they were not happy with their results and so needed a Google Ads expert to step in.
Shop Aid was tasked with increasing the volume of sales for the online retailer as well as improve the return on ad spend (ROAS).
Working within the retailer’s existing fixed budget, Shop Aid was able to improve sales from $2,000 per month to $33,000, achieving a 3500% ROAS in the process.
This was a stunning success (and admittedly this was even better than we had initially anticipated). Showing an increase in revenue of 15.5X over the month, the client was delighted with the turnaround in the business.
It proves that if you follow best practises on Google Ads, assess your product and the available search data, incredible results for your business are possible.
How Did We Do It?
The first thing was to make sure that we followed best practises through Google Ads and Google Analytics, after a detailed audit of the retailer’s Shopify based website.
Making sure that conversions were properly tracked, product data was optimised and the limited budget was correctly allocated.
Using a combination of Search, Shopping, Performance Max and Display, Shop Aid made sure that the highest volume and most profitable items received the most impressions (ad views), thereby increasing the click rate and number of purchases.
